Kate McPherson, DDS is a graduate of the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Upon graduating, she attended the Massachusetts General Hospital Harvard General Practice Residency in Dentistry. During the program, she worked at several Harvard affiliated intuitions: Mass General Brigham, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital where she gained advanced experience in clinical and emergency dentistry. She also became knowledgeable working with medically compromised patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Kate enjoys getting to know her patients and being able to treat them with comprehensive, personalized care. She aims to create a comfortable environment that doesn’t exclusively focus on treatment. She also strives to educate patients on their oral healthcare needs and ways to prevent future disease. Outside of the office, she is passionate about dental advocacy and ensuring that all patients have reasonable access to dental care. This has led her to be involved with associations such as the American Dental Association Council on Government Affairs.
In her spare time, Kate enjoys being outdoors and traveling with her boyfriend, Cody, and mini dachshund, Ollie.
